M-commerce: Prosodie Buys BackElite
- The French multichannel payment transaction processor, Prosodie, acquires the mobile Web services editor BackElite. This agency created in 2006 will remain independent from Prosodie.
- BackElite counts 70 employees and turned over more than 4.6 million euros last year. Prosodie reported 174 million euros annual sale.
- Prosodie plans to deploy mobile CRM and payment offers (including contactless). The company will benefit from all current communication media (voice, image and other data) on all current tools: smartphones, connected TV, tablets, etc..
- BackElite will benefit from Prosodie’s implantation in Belgium, Spain and Italy.
